Varsity Volleyball Wins First Round Playoff Match

Congratulations to Varsity Volleyball on its first round playoff win against Blue Ridge last night.  Volleyball will travel to Lancaster on Tuesday to play in the second round of the playoffs.  A spirit bus will be taken to the game.  The cost is $5.00 to ride the bus which will leave Camden High at 4:00

Cross Country Lady Bulldogs Place 4th in the Region

The Girls’ Cross Country team placed fourth in the Region 4 – 3A  meet ahead of Richland Northeast and Lower Richland.  Leading the the way for Camden with a season personal record was Megan Goodrich with a time of 23:25 followed by Abigail McLaughlin (25:08), Mell Boucher (25:27), Heather Woolard (25:32), Shikuro Messinides (25:53), Caroline Woolard

Boys’ Cross Country Place 3rd in the Region

The Bulldogs hosted the Region 4 – 3A meet at Sandhills on Saturday placing third over-all in the region ahead of Dreher, Lower Richland, and Richland Northeast.  Sophomore Garrett Lawson placed fifth in the region and was named an All Region runner with a time of 18:25.  Coming in second for Camden was KP Cassidy placing

Boys’ Cross Country Run at Ridgeview

Congratulations to Coach Jerry Stokes’ Boys’ Cross Country team for their efforts at Ridgeview Wednesday in Columbia. The boys took 9th place competing against 21 other teams in one of the largest meets of the season. The top seven runners all came in with sub-twenty times. Girls’ Cross Country has Five PR’s at Ridgeview

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Sandhills Wednesday for one of the largest meets of the season hosted by Ridgeview. Nineteen teams competed at the meet and the ladies took 12th place with five of the athletes running their personal best thus far in the season. Volleyball Update

Camden Volleyball lost a close match to region foe Chapin on Tuesday.  The fifth game ended with a 15-13 Chapin win.  On Wednesday, Camden easily defeated Lower Richland in three straight games. The final region match of the regular season will be played tonight (Thursday) at home against Richland Northeast.  It is Senior Night so

Activities Update

The SAT, originally scheduled for October 3rd, will be given on Saturday, October 17th. All extracurricular activities, including athletic games and matches,  scheduled for this week (Oct 5-9) have been cancelled.  Information about makeup dates will be posted when decisions have been made.

Girls’ Tennis Match Suspended After Camden Posts Three Single Match Wins

Last night’s Lady Bulldogs Tennis match was suspended due to inclement weather.  Camden netters Mackenzie Pendleton, Serena Hayes and Nellie Joseph completed wins in singles matches.  The suspended match will be completed at a later date.
