Varsity Football Records First Win of Season

The varsity football team defeated Lugoff-Elgin on Friday night by a score of 35-14. Game highlights include: Running back Kendrice Slater rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Girls’ Golf Team Begins Second Season

Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 State Championship Football Team

A celebration of the accomplishments of the 1964 State Championship football team will be held on Friday, October 17th when the Bulldogs host Dreher.  More information about the event will be posted in the near future.  Members of the 1964 team will receive information from the athletics department.

Meet the Bulldogs for Fall Sports: Monday, August 25th

The Camden Bulldog Club will sponsor Meet the Bulldogs for Fall sports teams on Monday, August 25th.  Members of varsity football, varsity volleyball, cross country, girls tennis, girls golf and cheer teams will be introduced by their coaches.  A hamburger supper begins at 6:30 pm in the commons area of the gym with the program

Scenes from the Jamboree

Camden High participated in the annual Shriners’ Jamboree on Friday, August 15th to kick off its 2014 season.  The football team was supported by the CHS cheerleaders and the Bulldog Regiment.  Thanks to all fans who attended this important fundraiser which supports the Shriners’ Children Hospital.

New faces for Girls Tennis will include a new coach.  Coach Tim Webb is the JROTC instructor at Camden High and is a 1977 graduate of Camden High.  He replaces Coach Stephen Sutusky who accepted a position as assistant principal at E. L. Wright Middle. This is Coach Webb’s first coaching position at Camden High.  He
