Scenes from the Jamboree

Camden High participated in the annual Shriners’ Jamboree on Friday, August 15th to kick off its 2014 season.  The football team was supported by the CHS cheerleaders and the Bulldog Regiment.  Thanks to all fans who attended this important fundraiser which supports the Shriners’ Children Hospital.

United Way Rivalry Week Kicks Off

Camden High supporters are encouraged to participate in the following fundraisers.  A portion of your purchases at these area restaurants are added to Camden High’s United Way total. Camden Volleyball Supports United Way!

Camden High School Volleyball players assisted Student Council at the United Way kickoff event, the CHS Color Run and Family Fun Day, on Saturday, August 16th.  Camden HS and Lugoff Elgin HS compete every year to raise the most money for United Way.  The final amounts raised will be revealed at half time at the

Football Meeting for JV and Freshman Football

Girls Tennis Announces New Coach

New faces for Girls Tennis will include a new coach.  Coach Tim Webb is the JROTC instructor at Camden High and is a 1977 graduate of Camden High.  He replaces Coach Stephen Sutusky who accepted a position as assistant principal at E. L. Wright Middle. This is Coach Webb’s first coaching position at Camden High.  He

Cross Country Practice Begins

Any 7th-12th grade interested in running cross country can begin running with the team now. Practices are held Monday-Thursday 6:00 p.m. (until Aug. 14th)  at the Wellness Center parking lot. First Practice: Monday, August 4th at 8:00 am at CHS Track Midnight Madness : Thursday, August 7th and Friday, August 8th at Irmo High School; there will be team building activities and a guest speaker; scrimmage begins at Midnight

Camden Varsity Football Update

Good Luck to Varsity Football as the team travels to Marlboro County for a two-day competition. New members of the Bulldog Football staff are: Aaron Mayes (Sub-Varsity; Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers); Rick Norred (Defensive Line); Kelvin Whitener (Wide Receivers).
