Boys Junior Varsity Baseball · JV Boys Baseball Beats Fairfield Central 11-0

Matthew Farmer nearly pitched a perfect game as the JV team notches their fourth win in a row to improve their record to 6-1 overall.  Farmer had 8 strikeouts, 0 walks, and just the one hit allowed.  The hit was a swinging bunt down the third base line to lead off the fourth inning for the Griffins.  The next batter hit a line drive back to Farmer who simply snagged the liner and flipped the ball over to 1B for the double play.  Silias Coleman entered the game and promptly struck out the lone batter he faced to end the ball game.

Offensively, the Bulldogs had 8 hits.  Hampton West and Korbin Hall both had two hits to lead the Dogs.  Connor McLeod, Banks Galloway, Connor Sanders, and Owen Dabbs all had one hit for the night.

The JV Dogs will play against West Florence at home on Thursday night at 7:00 against West Florence High School.  That game will be played following the B Team game with the same two teams beginning at 5:00.
